Data collected is stored securely, managed through appropriate protections and is treated as confidential. All 3rd-party data processors contracted by Phandemonium Inc that store or access information via cloud services, on websites, in apps, or other tools will be done consistent with this policy.
Phandemonium Inc recognizes that personal data is private and needs to be protected. Our intent is to keep your personal information safe, and use it only in furtherance of convention requirements. The personal information collected by Phandemonium Inc will be changed, deleted, or modified upon the request of the person.
-Data is requested and collected in order to conduct the business of Phandemonium Inc and is submitted by people who share this information for the purpose of receiving services and participating in the events provided by Phandemonium including the annual convention Capricon.
-Data collected includes facts and interests that identify and are tied to people. This includes names, contact details and professional history. Sensitive data may also be collected from some individuals in regards to enhancing diversity and identifying topics of a sensitive nature that potential program participants would be comfortable talking about as part of the Phandemonium Inc events. Sensitive data may include racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, disabilities and status thereof, medical needs or other topics.
-Our privacy standards do not govern members’ postings to Phandemonium’s social media sites, including Discord. We reserve the right, if we have the ability, to remove postings that violate our community standards.
-Not all information collected is required for membership. Only individual names, email addresses, and street addresses (with country) are required for memberships.
-No biometric data or financial data is collected by Phandemonium Inc. Financial data is collected and retained by the 3rd party vendors who process payments.
