Room Rates

All rooms are available for $130/night (plus taxes). Reservations must be made before 11:59pm, Thursday January 15th, 2026 to receive the discounted rate. If you’re interested in hosting a party, other options may be available, including suites. Suite-related inquiries may be directed to our Parties department.

The standard check-in time is 4pm, and the standard check-out time is 11am. The Marriott will do their very best to accommodate all requests. Please keep in mind that early check-in, late check-out, and other similar requests cannot be guaranteed.

New This Year!

To make sure that we’re good neighbors to the other hotel guests at the Marriott, we need as many Capricon attendees as possible to book rooms on the party floors! Keeping the fun (and the volume) clustered with fellow fans helps us avoid disrupting non-con guests and ensures that evening festivities can continue without issue.

When you book your hotel room, you can now use the Additional Requests box to tell us where you’d like your room (please see the images below if you need help locating the Additional Requests box). Type “Party Floor” if you want to be near the action, or “Quiet Room” if you prefer a more restful space. If you leave it blank, we’ll assume you have no preference and place you where space allows. Let us know what works best for you—we’ll do our best to match your request.

The Marriott kindly requests that you also use the Additional Requests box to indicate the number of vehicles you wish to park on-site (see Parking below for more details).

Parking

We’ve negotiated a discounted parking rate of $15 plus tax per day (24 hours) for all Capricon attendees—whether you’re staying at the hotel or commuting. This rate includes in-and-out privileges.

Accessible parking is available near the main entrance.

When you arrive at the Marriott, you may pull up to the front entrance to unload luggage or drop off passengers. After that, continue through the roundabout to access the parking lots.

The Marriott has four gated parking lots, all available to Capricon guests at the discounted rate. Most attendees use the two front lots. At your chosen lot, press the button at the gate, take a ticket, and park.

Attendees Staying at the Marriott

As mentioned above in the “New This Year!” section, please use the Additional Requests box when booking to indicate how many vehicles you’ll be parking on-site. This helps us determine if additional parking will be needed nearby.

At check-in, present your parking ticket at the Front Desk. You’ll be asked to register your license plate and receive an in-and-out parking pass that will allow your vehicle unlimited access to the parking lots during your stay.

Each registered guest may park one vehicle, but you may have multiple registered guests per room, depending on your room type. King rooms may have up to 3, Doubles may have up to four, and Suites may have up to five registered guests.

Charges will be added to your hotel folio based on your arrival and departure dates.

Attendees NOT Staying at the Marriott

Please visit Con Ops (in the Cumberland room) to request a daily parking pass. You may pay for parking either at the lot gate or the Front Desk. We highly recommend paying at the Front Desk to avoid bottle necks at the parking lot gates.

The Front Desk will provide you with a paid pass to exit the lot. At the gate, scan your original entry ticket first, then the discount QR code.

To use in-and-out privileges, you must prepay at the Front Desk. They will issue an in-and-out pass. Parking expires 24-hours after the arrival time stamp.

Hotel Features

Complimentary internet in all guest rooms. Refrigerators in all guest rooms. There is an indoor/outdoor pool and a 24-hour fitness center available for guests to use. The Marriott has their restaurant, Brickton, which is open daily from 6:30am – 11pm. They also have a coffee shop / bar located in the lobby. We are working with the hotel to provide discounted meal deals as well as themed food & beverage options (think Capricon themed pastries in the morning and cocktails in the evening) for our attendees. We very much encourage our attendees to utilize the food options in the hotel as a way of saying “thank you for having us” to the Marriott!

What’s Nearby

There is a Mariano’s grocery store right across the street and a 7-11 near the hotel (both under 0.3 miles walking distance). An even shorter walk to the CTA Blue Line and the in/out parking privileges offer easy access to all the attractions in Rosemont (one CTA train stop away) plus easy access for getting into the rest of Chicago!

Travel

By Shuttle

The Marriott Chicago O’Hare offers a complimentary shuttle between O’Hare Airport and the hotel. Stay tuned for more information about when, where, and how to utilize this service.

By Car

Our venue is located right off of I-90 at Cumberland, making it very easy to get to from the city, from the suburbs, and from O’Hare Airport. If traveling by car or cab from O’Hare Airport, anticipate roughly 15-30 minutes from door to door.

Public Transit

From O’Hare International Airport –

Follow the directions to the Blue Line to Forest Park. Exit the train at Cumberland and take the stairs, elevator, or escalator to the second floor of the station. Through the hallway on your right, you will find an elevator or stairs that will bring you down to street level. From there, you should be able to see the Marriott to your left. For security purposes, all guests must enter through the front entrance (rather than the side entrance facing the Blue Line station).

From Midway International Airport –

Follow directions to the Orange Line and exit the train at Clark & Lake. There, you will transfer to the Blue Line subway station.

Take the Blue Line toward O’Hare. Exit the train at Cumberland and take the stairs, elevator, or escalator to the second floor of the station. Through the hallway on your right, you will find an elevator or stairs that will bring you down to street level. From there, you should be able to see the Marriott to your left.

From Union Station (Metra, Amtrak) –

If you use the South West exit, you will find yourself near the corner of S Clinton St and W Jackson Blvd. Walk or ride two blocks south on Clinton St to the Clinton Blue Line subway station. Take the Blue Line toward O’Hare. Exit the train at Cumberland and take the stairs, elevator, or escalator to the second floor of the station. Through the hallway on your right, you will find an elevator or stairs that will bring you down to street level. From there, you should be able to see the Marriott to your left.

From Ogilvie Transportation Center (Metra) –

Head north to the Green/Pink Line at Clinton to Cottage Grove/Ashland (Green) or Loop (Pink) and exit at Clark & Lake. There, you will transfer to the Blue Line subway station.

Take the Blue Line toward O’Hare. Exit the train at Cumberland and take the stairs, elevator, or escalator to the second floor of the station. Through the hallway on your right, you will find an elevator or stairs that will bring you down to street level. From there, you should be able to see the Marriott to your left.

From Millennium Station (Metra, South Shore Line) –

Exit to Grant Park (Randolph & Michigan) to take the 124 (Navy Pier) bus.

Walk 3 blocks East on Randolph until you reach Dearborn. Turn left onto Dearborn and you’ll see the Blue LIne subway station straight ahead.

Take the Blue Line toward O’Hare. Exit the train at Cumberland and take the stairs, elevator, or escalator to the second floor of the station. Through the hallway on your right, you will find an elevator or stairs that will bring you down to street level. From there, you should be able to see the Marriott to your left.

How soon do I need to book my room?

Our discounted room block closes at 11:59pm CST on Thursday, January 15th, 2026. You’ll need to book before then to receive our discounted room rate. We highly recommend booking sooner rather than later to ensure you get the room you desire at the best possible rate.

The room type I’m looking for doesn’t show up on the booking website. Can I still get the room I’m looking for?

After entering your Guest Information and Payment Information, you will find a section called Room Requests and Accessibility.
