Alex Mui is an artist and amateur historian, involved with many different fandoms and communities. They are the founders of the Con History Project, which has been dedicated to researching, preserving, and archiving over 85 years of convention history including the creation of the Convention Family Tree. Alex hosts panels and lectures around the country on topics ranging from creative transformative art to covering the subject of human to animal and object transformation narratives in fiction. Other topics they are passionate about range from designing tarot cards, vexillology, documenting the history of the visual novel medium. They occasionally transform into Bash the Piñata and founder of ShifterCon Online. Comics they are working on include The Wrath of Con – The Story of Fandom’s Con Quest, Shifter School, and Would’ve Bit You.
