Catherine Lundoff is an award-winning queer writer, editor and publisher from Minneapolis where she lives with her wife and the cats who own them. By day, she is a professional computer geek, and the rest of the time, she does a lot of other things. She is the author of over 100 published short stories and essays in genres ranging from horror to historical fiction. Her work has appeared in such venues as Queer Weird West<\/em>, Fireside Magazine<\/em>, Nightmare Magazine<\/em>, the SFWA Blog, Dream Foundry<\/em>, Sherlock Holmes and the Occult Detectives<\/em>, American Monsters Part 2<\/em>, World of Darkness: Ghost Hunters<\/em>, Haunting Shadows (Wraith the Oblivion 20<\/em>th<\/sup><\/em> Anniversary Anthology) <\/em>and The Cainite Conspiracies (Vampire the Masquerade 20<\/em>th<\/sup><\/em> Anniversary Anthology)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her books include the Wolves of Wolf\u2019s Point Series: Silver Moon<\/em>, Blood Moon and Blue Moon <\/em>(forthcoming)<\/em>, and the short story collections Unfinished Business: Tales of the Dark Fantastic<\/em>, Out of This World: Queer Speculative Fiction Stories <\/em>and A Day at the Inn, A Night at the Palace and Other Stories<\/em>. She is also the editor of the anthologies Scourge of the Seas of Time (and Space) <\/em>and Haunted Hearths and Sapphic Shades: Lesbian Ghost Stories<\/em> and co-editor (with JoSelle Vanderhooft) of Hellebore and Rue<\/em>: Tales of Queer Women and Magic<\/em>. In addition, she has written acclaimed erotica and erotic romance as Emily L. Byrne, including the novel Medusa\u2019s Touch<\/em> and the short story collections Desire<\/em> and Knife\u2019s Edge<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She is also the publisher at Queen of Swords Press, a genre fiction publisher specializing in fiction from out of this world featuring LGBTQ+ protagonists. Queen of Swords Press publishes award-winning work by such authors as Melissa Scott, Amy Griswold, A.J. Fitzwater, Jennie Goloboy, Michael Merriam, Heather Rose Jones, Alex Acks and Catherine\u2019s own books, as well as work by other authors. In 2024, we will be releasing new editions of Melissa Scott\u2019s Astreiant Series, Michael Merriam will be an Author Guest of Honor at MarsCon Minneapolis and Melissa Scott will be a Guest of Honor at Cleveland Concoction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, she teaches writing and editing workshops at the Rambo Academy, Springboard for the Arts, the Loft Literary Center, Clarion West (online) and the Novel in Progress Book Camp. Sometimes, she also sleeps, reads, goes to cons, drinks a lot tea and watches a bunch of local theater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
