Come Find The Magic!

Join us February 8th thru the 12th for Capricon 27, a celebration of High Fantasy: Four days of Quests, Tourneys, Revelry, and Fellowship.

Experience Our Awesome Art show, our Diverse Dealers' Room and our Acclaimed Consuite

Be Inspired and Edified by our Panels and Presentations.

Lose yourself in our Fine Film Program and Expand your Horizons in our Anime room.

Sing the night away in our Filk Circles.

Our Guests are rare finds in and of themselves:
Lois McMaster Bujold, our Author Guest of Honor has been known for her Hugo and Nebula Award winning adventures of Miles Vorkosigian and the Dendarii Mercenaries. But her recent work, in the land of Chalion, has featured gods, quests, visions, prophecies, romance and intrigue.

Erin McKee was Artist Guest of Honor at Capricon once before. But she's so good we just had to have her back. Her elegant and amazing artwork has graced book covers, musical albums, renaissance faires, convention art shows, and the walls of many fans.

Cat Faber, our Fan Guest of Honor is a musician of rare talent. She plays a number of instruments, sings beautifully and writes songs of Fanticy and Science Fiction that will stir your soul.

We want your ideas, too! What would you like to see? Is there a topic you'd like covered? What can you teach us? Send your suggestions to programming @ capricon.org. We'd love to hear from you.

While you're at it, have you considered volunteering for a few gopher hours? There's lots of neat stuff that needs to be done (yeah, and some boring stuff , too) and it's a great way to see the convention from the inside. Hey, you've been enjoying conventions for a while now. Spend a little time paying it forward.

Keep an eye on our website for new and exciting developments.

If you have been to Cap before you'll find all the things you love and keep coming back for. If you've never been, this is the year to take the leap of faith and find your heart's delight. Or, at least, a really fun weekend.

Chair, Capricon XXVII
