John is one of the founding members of the Denver Mad Scientists' Club (motto: Have you blown up your garage today?) and the copyright holder of the rules for the Critter Crunch (the original and best robotic combat tournament), which we use here at Capricon to run the Midwest Regional Critter Crunch.
John is also the creator of the much-despised Fang, a 20-pound critter that has clinched the Critter Crunch World Championship in Denver for entirely too many years in a row.
He'll be joining us all the way from Denver, no doubt enjoying a giddy weekend of oxygen overload here in the lowlands.
John is a stellar example of mad scientist-hood, and we are honored to welcome him as a guest for Capricon 25: Mad Scientists!
