Our new convention home will be the Sheraton Grand Chicago in downtown Chicago, Illinois. Located at 301 East North Water Street, Chicago, Illinois, 60611. Throughout our discussions with the Sheraton this past year, we have been delighted by their commitment to make our experience an outstanding one. We are excited to make this space our new home!<\/p>\n

You can make a reservation via the link below.<\/p>\n https:\/\/book.passkey.com\/e\/50220215<\/a><\/p>\n Capricon has arranged for discounted parking at the Sheraton during the run of the convention.\u00a0 The details are:<\/p>\n Hotel parking is also available for non-guests of the hotel. Validation will be available at the front desk of the hotel. Parking at the hotel does not include in\/out privileges for non-guests of the hotel. Details on the parking validation process for discounted rates will be made available soon for those opting to not stay at the hotel.<\/p>\n If the parking fills up, or if you would prefer not to worry about altering your plans if it fills up before you get on site, we have noted that Spot Hero has 3 discounted parking options across the street from the Sheraton that have shown rates of $14 to $22 for parking sessions of at least 12 hours.\u00a0 These 3 lots have shown themselves to be consistently the cheapest in the area on Spot Hero so far:<\/p>\n Spot Hero prices are subject to change but can<\/strong>\u00a0be purchased in advance, so you could possibly lock in $14 for 12 hours of parking during Capricon right now and be set.<\/p>\n It should be noted that the Ogden Plaza Garage is an\u00a0excellent<\/strong>\u00a0choice if it can be booked because that garage elevator connects to the Sheraton directly via an enclosed walkway.\u00a0 For folks with mobility issues, there are a couple of low door jams to work around, but it is fairly wide access and there are no stairs.\u00a0 You will enter the hotel on the same level that the Capricon program panels will be held.<\/p>\n Enter this location at LOWER 301 E North Water St. This is the garage for the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers. This is a LAZ Parking garage located near Navy Pier on the southwest corner of New St. and E North Water St. Look for the white and blue banner with red arrows that say “Hotel & Public Parking”<\/p>\n From the intersection of E. Illinois St. and McClurg Ct. OR the intersection of E. Grand Ave. and McClurg Ct., take McClurg Ct. south and make a right (turn west) on E. North Water Street. Follow E. North Street past New St. and into “the tunnel,” you will find the garage entrance on your left (south side), about 1\/2 block past the tunnel entrance.<\/p>\n If traveling by car or cab from the airports, anticipate at least an hour and fifteen minutes from door to door.<\/p>\n Follow the directions to the Blue Line to Forest Park.\u00a0 Exit the train at Washington and transfer to one of the following buses: 29 (State) or 124 (Navy Pier) at State Street and Randolph Street.\u00a0Estimated travel time from O’Hare to Hotel Lobby is 1 hour and 25 mins.<\/p>\n Follow directions to the Orange Line and exit the train at State & Lake.\u00a0 29 (State) bus picks up at State & Lake.\u00a0 Estimated travel\u00a0time is 1 hour and 10 mins.<\/p>\n 124 (Navy Pier), 157 (Streeterville\/Taylor) or the 151 (Sheridan) all depart from the transit hub south of Union Station.\u00a0 Estimated travel time is 30 mins from Union Station to the Hotel Lobby.<\/p>\n Head north to the Green\/Pink Line at Clinton to Cottage Grove\/Ashland (Green) or Loop (Pink).\u00a0 Exit at State & Lake and catch the 29 (State) and exit at Illinois & St. Clair.\u00a0 Estimated travel time from Ogilvie to Hotel Lobby is 20 mins.<\/p>\n 157 (Streeterville\/Taylor) and 124 (Navy Pier) departs Ogilvie from Canal & Madison to the southeast. Estimated travel time by bus from Ogilvie to Hotel Lobby is 25 mins.<\/p>\n Exit to Grant Park (Randolph & Michigan) to take the 124 (Navy Pier) bus.<\/p>\n Exit to Michigan Avenue to catch the 151 (Sheridan), 157 (Streeterville\/Taylor), or the 3 (King Drive) – exit the bus at Michigan & Hubbard.<\/p>\n Estimated travel time from Millennium Station to Hotel Lobby is 12 mins.<\/p>\n For all CTA bus and train questions or to use their trip planner head to transitchicago.com<\/a>.
