Capricon 42 is hybrid!

Virtual Capricon is now open! All members have been sent an email with their secret password, so come join the fun!

If you joined the convention after Thursday, February 3, please look in your confirmation email for your purchase for instructions on how to access the convention Discord and Virtual Portal!

Didn’t get the email? Follow these steps:

1) Did someone else buy your membership? Then they got the email, so go ask them for it.

If not:

2) Search your Spam and Promotions folders for email from newsletter@capricon.org

If you can’t find it:

3) Check that you actually purchased a membership by logging in to registration.capricon.org and clicking “view your purchase history”. If there’s not a 2022 badge there, then click on “purchase badges and other items” and select either the $10 Booster level (we really appreciate your financial support) or the free virtual membership.

If you have a membership, but still no invitation:

4) email infodesk@capricon.org and someone will send you the information.

If you are not yet a member, be sure to head over to our Registration site to make sure you’re signed up for all the fun. You’ll receive the information on joining the virtual convention in your confirmation email. Virtual membership is free, but if you can throw us $10 by purchasing a Booster level membership, we’d sure appreciate it!

Virtual Capricon will include:

  • 1 stream of on-site programming (Erie Room) streamed to our virtual portal
  • 2-3 streams of online programming
  • 1 track of virtual gaming
  • Party Zooms Friday and Saturday night
  • Capricon 42 Discord access, with discussions and assorted shenanigans for all

Virtual Capricon will mostly take place on Friday, February 4th and Saturday, February 5th, with limited items on Thursday and Sunday. To see the entire virtual schedule, go to guide.capricon.org and filter using the Virtual tag.
