This year our Café will expand into multiple realms. You’ll still find the welcoming atmosphere and lively discussions in our Discord channels, and enjoy seeing an extended variety of performances and workshops on our zoom ‘stage’. Even our puzzle table returns (for details, see our #puzzle-table channel)!  And while we cannot serve our delicious foods and beverages, don’t forget to ask Café-Bot for your favorite drink or treat.

Music

Our virtual Capricon is on the same weekend as the British Filkcon, Long(Distance) Play, which has also gone online for this year. Accordingly, we’ve decided to team up.

Our British friends will be sharing our Zoom and Discord channels and we’ll have one long, integrated track, which you can see as part of the Capricon schedule. Capricon will kick things off stateside daytime (CT) Friday then Long(Distance) Play will pick up from open circle with programming from Europe starting at 4:00 AM CT/10:00 AM GMT on Saturday. Both groups will share concerts, theme filks, circles, and events throughout the weekend. 

If you’ve always wanted to get over to England to see what the fannish music scene is like there, this is your chance to travel – even if only virtually! We hope you enjoy the Café we’ve created.
