The following rates are applicable for February 9-16, 2010. Rooms must be reserved by January 31, 2010 to guarantee the convention rate.

Regular Room (Queen/Queen or King): $103.00/night

Hospitality Suite: $149.00/night

Description

The Westin Chicago North Shore is a beautiful new hotel located in Wheeling, Illinois, a northwest suburb of Chicago.  The hotel has many amenities that Capricon members enjoy:

There are currently two restaurants in the hotel, although a third is expected to open later in 2009.  There are also several other nearby restaurants for your enjoyment, including a Cooper’s Hawk and a Claim Jumper in the hotel parking lot area.

The Westin is a completely non-smoking hotel, and will charge huge damage costs for people who smoke in their rooms.

We strongly encourage you to book your room early.  This will increase your chance to get the type of room you want, and will also ensure that you don’t accidentally miss the closing date for our room block reservations (January 21, 2010).

Chicago’s commuter rail service has three stations within five miles of the Westin.

Lake-Cook Road Station on the Milwaukee District Line (4.3 miles from the hotel)
Wheeling Station on the North Central Service Line (2 miles from the hotel)
Buffalo Grove Station on the North Central Service Line (2.8 miles from the hotel)
