Professor Michael Longcor

Michael Longcor is a nationally known filk and folk writer and performer, whose songs have aired on regional radio across North America and Europe, including Folk Song Festival and Dr. Demento. Michael has long been active in Fandom, including the Dorsai Irregulars, and was a Capricon guest of honor in 2000. His eight CDs on the Firebird label include titles such as 'Kitchen Junk Drawer', 'Heartburn', and 'Lovers, Heroes & Rogues'. Recently, he?s provided songs for a BBC program on Rudyard Kipling; his song, 'Shooting Star', won Best Filk Song at the 2003 Ohio Valley Filk Fest; and his short story, 'True Colors', appeared in "Sun In Glory", an anthology of short stories set in Mercedes Lackey?s world of Valdemar. A second story, 'Old Order', is scheduled to appear in the Lackey anthology, "Bedlam?s Edge".
