Pre-registration is now live for the Catan World Championship Pre-Qualifier for Capricon! Head over to the Capricon website and pre-register today for a chance to win a trip to Gen Con Indy, and possibly Berlin, Germany. Participants must have a badge for Capricon, be 18 years or older, and U.S. citizens.

Don’t forget, on January 1, 2014 the cost for four fun-filled days at Capricon goes up to $55. You can secure your all-inclusive four-day badge for $50 if you act before the end of the year. In addition to our guests of honor, we have a live band, Karaoke, a live-action LARP, SpaceTime Theater, a Time Warp dance, free grub (special bacon night!!!) and so many panels you’ll need a time turner to attend them all.

Phandemonium Book Club Update – “Redshirts”

The Phandemonium Book Club will be meeting at WindyCon 40 to discuss this year’s winner of the Hugo Award for Best Novel, “Redshirts: A Novel with Three Codas” by John Scalzi.
Book club will be on Saturday, November 9, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in the Walnut room.
