Phandemonium Book Club Evanston – “Galactic Patrol”

For July we’ll be discussing “Galactic Patrol” by E. E. “Doc” Smith. This is one of the 1939 Retro Hugo nominees. It’s also part of the classic “Lensman” series.

Phandemonium Book Club Elgin – “The Martian Chronicles”

Phandemonium is starting a second book club. We’ll meet at the Blue Box Cafe in Elgin. What better place for us to gather than a Doctor Who themed cafe?
Our first book will be “The Martian Chronicles” by Ray Bradbury. We’ll be discussing it on June 21, 2014 at 10:00 am.
